Inside Account Representative

Job Description:

As an Inside Account Representative, you will play a critical role in driving business growth by generating, qualifying, and managing leads through both inbound and outbound channels. Working closely with our Business Development Manager and channel partners, you’ll help build a strong and high-quality sales pipeline, directly contributing to increased conversion rates and revenue.

This role also involves managing relationships with channel partners and end users, coordinating meetings, and supporting small to mid-sized sales opportunities from start to close. You will engage with system integrators, VARs (Value-Added Resellers), and resellers to understand their needs and deliver value-driven solutions, strengthening our market presence and customer loyalty.

By identifying new business opportunities and supporting strategic expansion, your work will be essential in boosting the team’s efficiency, ensuring sales readiness, and helping the company reach its growth objectives.

Occasional travel may be required for client meetings and industry events.

Experience & Education:

Must have:

  • Eligible to work legally in Australia.
  • Native-level English proficiency is required.
  • Requires 3+ years of account management. Ability to multi-task projects and escalates Pre-sales issues in a timely manner.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Experience with cold calling, lead generation and qualifying potential clients / Web Research. Excellent verbal and written skills are needed.

Nice to have:

  • Experience in the IT Hardware sector is required, and knowledge of the rugged market is a plusProven success communicating and collaborating with both technical and non-technical audiences. Self-driven and well-organized.
  • Strong pro-active initiative to learn about new product releases and improving personal sales recruitment skills.
  • Experience with internal sales distribution and forecasting systems are desired
  • Prior experience in a position that interfaces with internal company business units, HQ business units and 3rd party business partners is desired.
